339ds agoGood Samaritan Hospital in Suffern is now designated a Level 3 trauma center.
The new title means people have another option if they need to be treated for a traumatic injury.
Doctors there say the designation will allow them to treat more patients, more quickly.
If patients need extensive care, they can also be transported within network to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. which is a Level 1 Trauma Center.
