The sunken boat from the Sheepshead Bay rescue mission earlier this month has been lifted from the water.
According to the Coast Guard, the owner of the boat intends to relocate it to a local marina, where they will determine what can be salvaged or scrapped. The fuel tanks have been emptied to prevent polluting the waters.
Nearly a dozen people were rescued from the boat when it sank at Pier 1 near East 26 Street and Emmons Avenue on Aug 4.
The boat has been in the water since then.
The Coast Guard says the investigation into what caused the boat to sink is still ongoing.
