3ds agoA violent robbery in Melrose was caught on camera.
Police say a 67-year-old man was walking down East 151st Street when the suspects approached the victim from behind and began to chase him.
The video shows the group pushing the victim down and assaulting him.
As the victim tried to get back up, the group came back, pushed him back down and continued kicking him.
The suspects got away with the victim's backpack which had $300 and cellphone. The victim was treated for injuries to his head and face.
