The suspect who allegedly shot an NYPD officer Friday is now facing a slew of charges.
Police say Kelvin Stichel, 33, shot NYPD detective Miguel Soto Friday. They say Soto was asking Stichel to put his hands up when the suspect pulled out a gun and started shooting at the officers.
They say Stichel was also wanted for a domestic armed robbery among various other crimes.
The 33-year-old is now facing four counts of attempted murder, four counts of aggravated attempted murder and robbery.
The shooting comes just about a year after the deadly shooting of NYPD Detective Miosotis Familia.
The mother of three was ambushed and killed in a parked police car.
