The suspect in a rape in Marine Park Wednesday remains on the loose, putting the community on edge.
Police say the man used a box cutter to force a woman into his black car at Avenue M and Flatlands Avenue Wednesday morning after midnight. The victim was raped and then let out a few blocks away. She was treated at Coney Island Hospital and released.
While many residents say the community is safe, some say the neighborhood is changing for the worse. Homeowners hope the suspect is captured soon.
