Police have blocked off a section of an East New York street after a police-involved shooting.
Police say it happened at 430 Pine St. around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
They say they were conducting a court-ordered search warrant, looking for a firearm they were told was in the suspect's home.
Police say they entered the suspect's house and ordered him not to move, but he ignored their commands.
Officials say police shot the man in the right leg, and he was sent to Brookdale hospital and is in stable condition.
Business owners who work across the street told News 12 there have been ongoing crimes in their area and that it is greatly affecting them and their business.
No officers were hurt during the incident.
