Suspect on the run following knifepoint robbery in Williamsburg

According to police, a person approached a man around 2 a.m. last Thursday and placed a knife to his throat while demanding his property.

Police say a man was robbed at knifepoint in Williamsburg.

According to police, a person approached a man around 2 a.m. last Thursday and placed a knife to his throat while demanding his property.

The scene unfolded in front of 647 Metropolitan Ave. near Manhattan Avenue.

Police say the man got away with the victim’s phone, wallet, chain, car keys and about $60.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police.
