Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person who stole $1,700 from a man’s bank account in Sunset Park.

Investigators say the 38-year-old victim received an alert that an unauthorized withdrawal was made at the Chase Bank on 8th Avenue and 55th Street.

The suspect was caught on camera taking the cash before fleeing the scene.
