Teachers protest against being overworked during and after school days

Teachers across New York City brought their work to Keltch Park in a move they say is a protest against being overworked during the school day and after it's over.
Educators brought out their laptops and stacks of paperwork to grade their work in the park tonight, to show the public just how much work they juggle on a daily basis.
They say much of their time during school hours is filled with unnecessary busy work and unrelated tasks that don't serve their students.
The United Federation of Teachers says this is a call to the Department of Education to add more staffing to their schools to ensure that all students are receiving the education they deserve.
