This year is going to be a good year to catch Team Combat League matches. The team-based boxing league season is kicking off on March 28.

Fighters say the team aspect is unique to the typically individual sport. A world super featherweight champion of the NYC Attitude, an all-female team, is excited for the season - and for good reason.

"This is season two. Last year the New York Attitudes won. So, I'm looking forward to this for us to win again as well," said super featherweight champion Ronica Jeffrey.

Jeffrey says the sport of boxing could use more women, and that hopping in the ring can show you just how strong women really can be.

"Women are supposed to be like this petite, gentle little thing but we're proving that we can be both at the same time. We have choices and we can be both," said Jeffrey.
