Teen charged with second-degree murder in stabbing of Peekskill athlete

17-year-old has been arraigned in the stabbing death of a star athlete in
Peekskill.
Police say the teenager is charged with second-degree
murder in the of killing 18-year-old
Joaquin Salazar.
Investigators say Salazar was stabbed during a fight Saturday night in a
parking lot.
The 17-year-old is also charged with assault after police say he caused serious
injuries to another victim.
He's now being held at a juvenile detention center.
