A teen was taken to Brookdale Hospital with Ebola-like symptoms, but officials say he does not have the deadly virus.

News 12 visited the teen's family at their home in Georgetown. They say their 14-year-old cousin just got home from Sudan last night when he started feeling dizzy.

The teen was then taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was examined and cleared of the virus.

It comes as the World Health Organization announced Friday that more than 4,000 people have died in the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. JFK Airport has implemented enhanced screening for travelers from the region.
