Police are searching for two people caught on camera vandalizing a parked Tesla in Bed-Stuy. Investigators say the suspects carved the word "Nazis" and a swastika into the car’s doors before running off.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. Thursday in front of 730 Monroe St. Surveillance video released by the NYPD shows two men approaching the vehicle. One kneels down and begins marking the car before handing the tool to the other, who does the same. Both of their faces are clearly visible in the footage.

The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating, calling it a case of criminal mischief. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

This attack comes as Tesla vehicles and properties have been targeted in cities across the U.S. Some believe it may be linked to the political influence of Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
