Police say a man was shot in the head just after 2:30 a.m. Monday in Bed-Stuy.

They say it happened on Myrtle Avenue. The NYPD says the unidentified man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

News 12 obtained surveillance video that shows a white car drive by, stop, and then a man falls to the ground.

News 12 spoke with residents like Sharon Lloyd who say that crime has recently gotten better in the area. Lloyd says she was upset to hear about the incident.

“That’s sad, that’s really sad. That’s someone’s child or husband,” said Lloyd.

Police say no arrests have been made as of Monday evening.
