consumer reporter Janice Lieberman has The Real Deal on what’s a good buy.
It’s the
first time the online giant is hosting two huge Prime-only sales in one year.
The sale runs Oct. 11- 12. Amazon promises to knock off prices on
hundreds of thousands of items.

Shoppers
will be able to find a lot of tech deals, including on Amazon proprietary deals
like Kindle and Amazon Fire.
Remember
you do have to be a Prime member to cash in on the discounts. There is a free
trial for 30 days if you want to check it out. Amazon Prime has lots of other
benefits as well.
Before
purchasing, you should create a wishlist - and track the prices to know if you
are getting the best deal.
Hold off on
buying laptops and other electronics until the real Black Friday - when you can
shop and compare with the other retailers.
