Are you all set with your Mother’s Day flower delivery?

The Real Deal on ordering
online.
1. DO YOUR HOMEWORK
Call and ask where the flowers are coming from. The less
time in transit, the fresher the flowers.
2. ASK WHAT IS FRESH
A lot of times florists will have what’s in season and it’s
a great way to save money because anything that’s in season, there’s more
supply of it and hopefully it shouldn’t be so expensive.
3. ORDER EARLY
Make sure to order early. You want your gift to arrive on
time, and for the flowers you chose to be in stock. If you're unhappy with your
order, call customer service immediately and ask for new ones or a refund.
4. MAKE THEM LAST LONGER
When mom receives her bouquet, show her how to make them
last longer.
Cut two inches off the stems on an angle, so they don’t sit
flat on the bottom of the vase.
Wilted leaves add bacteria to the water and will ruin the
rest of your arrangement.
Add a little sugar and vinegar to the water. The sugar feeds
the flowers and the vinegar helps kill the bacteria.
Adding a penny or an aspirin to the water doesn't work.
