While many of us are practicing social distancing, one hopeless romantic didn’t let it get in the way from shooting his shot.
Jeremy Cohen says a young girl caught his eye in a nearby building. "I just happened to see this girl across the street on the other roof dancing, and we waved and there was just this energy between us,” said Cohen.
“I got out paper, pen, tape and my drone and I taped ‘text me’ with my number on the drone. I went up to the roof really quick and flew it over just across the street and it landed it right in front of her. She picked it up and she texted me,” said Cohen.
The girl’s name is Tori Cignarella. "When it was all happening, it just kind of like blew my mind honestly,” said Cignarella.
Cohen recorded the cute moment and it quickly went viral on social media. The video has more than 25 million views in just a few days.
“Now I'm on my next challenge, which is how to go on a romantic date with someone without being able to be next to them so I have an idea for our first date and it's taken some coordinating but it's going to be good I think, and safe, and responsible,” said Cignarella.
They both say they will keep their fans updated as they navigate dating and keeping 6 feet apart.
