Police are searching for a suspect who they say robbed a Sunoco gas station at knifepoint on Bartow Avenue Saturday evening.
According to police, the suspect posed as a customer, purchasing a bottle of water just after 8 p.m. on Saturday. Once he received his change, he went around the counter and pulled out a large knife, taking off with more than two thousand dollars from cash registers.
The gas station's owner says he's going to take extra precautions from now on, including installing more security cameras.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male, around 5' 6" tall.
