A pair of recent flag thefts in Bay Ridge has residents fuming.
Each victim was either in the military or has a family member serving in the armed forces.
State Sen. Marty Golden (R-22nd District) has presented both victims with replacements.
?You can?t steal American flags in Brooklyn and get away with it,? he said. ?We want those flags flying high.?
Community members call the flag thefts a growing concern and report previous incidents similar to the recent two.
