More than 40,000 people gathered in Crown Heights for Lag B'Omer.
The parade is a celebration of Jewish pride and unity.
The longstanding tradition, also known the great parade, actually started in the 50s.
It features dancing, music, floats and the children's army signifying that they are in God's army fighting for good.
The great parade also honored the passing of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai.
Organizers say when the Jewish leader died, he requested that his passing be celebrated with joy and festivities.
