Thousands celebrate Puerto Rican Hispanic Parade in Brentwood

This year, organizers say as many as 50,000 people came out, making this one of the biggest parades in its history.

Thousands of community members and families came together Sunday to celebrate the Puerto Rican Hispanic Parade in Brentwood.
This year, organizers say as many as 50,000 people came out, making this one of the biggest parades in its history.
The parade had been shut down since the start of COVID-19.
The 56th annual parade took place along 5th Avenue in Brentwood.
New York City will have a Puerto Rican Day parade next week.
