Thousands gathered Wednesday for a 113-year-old celebration in Williamsburg.
The Giglio Feast celebrates an Italian saint who was kidnapped and then returned.
The feast is more than a week long, but the lifting of the Giglio statue was held Wednesday.
Many people who attended the feast said they have been to the celebration multiple times.
There will be live music every night until the end of the celebration at the end of the week. A day of Masses will be held Saturday as well.
