8h agoAn 8-year-old who became famous on TikTok for his undying love of corn celebrated his 8th birthday on Saturday by giving back to families in need.
Tariq, also known as "The Corn Kid," packed oranges into bags at City Harvest with friends and family.
They packed 215 bags of oranges, raising more than $8,000 for the City Harvest's "Share Lunch Fight Hunger" campaign.
“They will be donated to lots of people so they will have food,” says Tariq.
Tariq became a TikTok sensation after a video of him eating corn and proclaiming his love for the vegetable went viral.
