? The clock is ticking for Brooklyn seniors to enroll in a Medicare Part D plan, but many say they are too confused to make a decision.
Several seniors in Dyker Heights told News 12 Brooklyn they have not signed up for a prescription drug plan because there are too many to choose from. Others feel employees who answer the phones for Medicare have been unhelpful in addressing their needs. Some seniors have given up and opted for coverage elsewhere.
The deadline to sign up for a Medicare Part D drug plan is May 15. People who miss the deadline will face penalties.
