Weekend travelers in Brooklyn are in for weeks worth of train changes and delays as repairs are made to subway lines. Repairs to the C-train will discontinue service starting this weekend in Brooklyn. The A-train will partially replace the lost service until May 7. However, the A-train will not stop between Jay Street-Borough Hall and Utica Avenue, so subway service will be replaced by free shuttle buses. Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) officials say they are working to make things run as smooth as possible during the five-week construction period. All subway trains will be running on a normal schedule for the weekend of April 7 for the Easter holiday.
