Greenpoint roads near Meeker Avenue and Manhattan Avenue saw massive amounts of flooding.

Alex Mickiewicz tells News 12 he had to resort to a bike as his last shot and commuting for work.

“I hopped on the G train to come up here, and it stopped at Bedford-Nostrand, said it wasn't going any further. Got out, tried to order a car. Car was going to cost me $75 because, you know, everybody ordering them, that kept canceling. So, I got in the city bike and now I'm biking. And now I’m trying to cross this river right under the BQE," said Mickiewicz.

Bushwick also saw its fair share of flooding near Knickerbocker Avenue. Nearby employees like Sotero Vasquez say he spent hours trying to drain the flooding.

“I just basically unclogged drainage, got all the fill, dirt, leaves and that's all it took," said Vasquez.
