The Brooklyn Eats Festival in Downtown Brooklyn hosted food vendors from across the borough to give residents a taste of local dining options.
Almost 100 food and drink vendors set up shop at the Marriott Hotel with products ranging from pickles to beer to chocolate -- all produced locally.
There were stands for Mike's Hot Honey, a spice-infused version of the honeybee's sweetener, I.M. Pastry Studio and the Brooklyn Brewery.
Organizers say the event is for both networking and growing local businesses.
The festival is a trade show organized annually by the chamber of commerce.
Entry costs $10.
