The state Department of Transportation advises drivers to anticipate delays on the Hutchinson River Parkway through Thursday due to ongoing construction.

A lane reduction and ramp closures are in effect.

The northbound traffic will be affected between Exit 12 (Mamaroneck Road) and Exit 14 (North Street). Closure of northbound ramps to Exit 13 (Mamaroneck Avenue) and Exit 14 will also be in effect.

Police are advising motorists to follow posted detours.

In addition, the DOT says the ramp from the Cross County Parkway eastbound to Exit 9 (Hutchinson River Parkway southbound) in the City of Mount Vernon will be closed from 11 p.m. tonight through 5 a.m. on Tuesday to facilitate guide rail repairs, weather permitting.
