Travelers at JFK airport say their experience was more positive than negative on Wednesday evening.
"Flights weren’t delayed too much, and all the flight staff was here," said Darren Sam. "It was way less of a headache than I thought.’”
According to AAA, an estimated 80 million people will take to the skies this week, making it one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
Despite the usual holiday hustle and bustle, many passengers reported smooth journeys so far, crediting early planning for a hassle-free experience.
