Truck rips down power lines leaving dozens without power in East New York

Con Edison says a truck ripped down overhead power lines in East New York, leaving 57 customers without power.
Officials say three poles were damaged and live wires were left strewn across the road near at Hendrix Street and Cozine Avenue just after noon Wednesday.
One resident said he was on his computer inside his home when his "house shook like an earthquake."
He and other witnesses say the truck drove away after the crash.
"There was a worker yelling at the truck to stop and the truck kept on going and he pulled down both lines," the man said.
The FDNY says no one was injured.
Crews are expected to restore power by Wednesday evening, according to the Con Edison outage map.
Information about the driver allegedly leaving the scene was not immediately available.
