Gov. Kathy Hochul is firing back at Nicki Minaj after the rapper called her an “evil woman” in a post on X.
The rapper has made headlines recently for voicing support for Republican candidates and President Donald Trump.
She took to social media to comment on the governor’s race, which is heating up online as only five days remain.
“Kathy Hochul is an evil woman,” read the post. “The Democratic Party should forfeit her seat because even if she wins, she will be of great consequence to them. Downward spiral for her. She will not escape God’s wrath. She did not denounce evil when she had the chance.”
Hochul responded, telling Minaj she should “get outside - and stop going to Trump rallies. It’s kinda poisoning your mind.”
Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman chimed in on Instagram with a post directed at Minaj.
"Nicki, I’ve got the U-Haul ready. It's time to fire the worst governor in America,” he stated.
