A group of twerking teens caused nearly $3,000 in damage to a parked vehicle in Crown Heights.
A witness to the incident said more than 100 teens rushed into the McDonald's on Eastern Parkway just before 7 p.m. Thursday night.
Security kicked the group out, which then surrounded parked cars. Some of the teens climbed on the roof and hood, jumping and punching the vehicle while other twerked to music.
"I'm shocked," said Antoinette Fatuase, wife of the vehicle's owner "I'm still in shock."
Fatuase said her husband was working when it all went down and arrived as the crowd dispersed to find his vehicle hood and roof was smashed in.
"He was alerted by the security guard and people that were there, that people were jumping up and down on his truck," she said.
The vehicle is now at an auto body shop for repairs that are estimated to cost $3,000.
Fatuase is disabled and said the vehicle is the couples only mode of transportation.
She said their insurance will be covering a rental car during the three weeks of work that is required to make repairs.
"For that to happen, you know, out of the blue, you know, is very disheartening to see kids do something like that," she said.
Fatuase and her husband said they hope the teens responsible will be held accountable.
