Two major COVID-19 vaccination sites are slated to open in Shelton this week, officials say.
Hartford HealthCare's facility in Shelton will be open Tuesday, a spokesperson says.
Connecticut residents were already lined up to receive their first vaccine outside the Griffin Health building Monday morning around 6:15 a.m.
Hartford HealthCare says they will be able to vaccinate 300 people per day at their clinics.
Currently only residents 75 years and older are eligible to receive the vaccine during Phase 1B.
Gov. Ned Lamont estimates the wait to get vaccinated could take a couple of weeks.
Those interested in signing up for a vaccine can do so through their health care provider, online or over the phone.
