The MTA announced the G line is being modernized to bring more reliable service.
Repairs begin Monday, July 14, which is the beginning of service disruptions until Aug. 18.
Here are the following changes from the MTA:
Key Service Disruptions:
Weeknight Closures (9:45 p.m. to 5 a.m.):
  • July 14–18
  • July 24–25
  • Aug. 4–8
  • Aug. 11–15
Weekend Closures (9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday):
  • July 25–28
  • Aug. 1–4
  • Aug. 8–11
  • Aug. 15–18
During these periods, the MTA says G service will not operate between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues. Service will continue between Church Avenue and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues.
Fare-free shuttle buses will be available at those closed stations. The MTA says shuttles will run every three to four minutes on weeknights and every five to eight minutes during the day on weekends, with 10-minute intervals overnight.
