USDA: Over 245,000 pounds of Banquet frozen chicken strips recalled over reported plastic

There has been at least one reported injury, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Check your freezer. Conagra Brands, Inc. has recalled 245,366 pounds of frozen chicken strips because they could contain pieces of plastic, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The agency says there has been at least one reported injury.
The frozen chicken strips entrees were produced on June 20, 2023, July 11, 2023, and July 17, 2023.
The 8.9 oz. carton of Banquet chicken strips meal with a best if used by dates of Dec. 11, 2024, Jan. 1, 2025 or Jan. 7, 2025 and lot numbers 5009317120, 5009319220, or 5009319820 located on the side of the carton are subject to recall.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number "EST. P-9" printed on the side of the carton. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide and were also sold online, according to the USDA.
Consumers are being told to throw this product away or bring them back to the store.
