Over 20 veterans on Friday were presented with a lapel pin in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War commemoration.
The ceremony was held at the VFW Post 414 in Center Moriches.
Those honored at the event served in the US Army, National Guard, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps.
The veterans were also honored with a congressional certificate of recognition. The families of veterans who have passed accepted it on their behalf.
