Dozens came together in the streets to say prayers and honor Mia.
Mia was killed while working on a construction job to fix a retaining wall when it collapsed. His body was crushed under the heavy debris.
Friends say he was a very nice person and a hard worker. They say he was talking to his wife and working as usual when the accident happened.
Mia has worked throughout New York for the last 12 years while supporting his wife and son who live in Bangladesh.
Mia will be laid to rest in Bangladesh.
