Police have released surveillance video of a smash-and-grab crime at an auction house in Midtown.
Police say a group carrying hammers shattered the front window of Heritage Auctions on Park Avenue in order to steal luxury handbags.
Eight Hermes bags worth about $242,000 were stolen.
After taking the goods, the masked burglars drove off in a white Acura Sedan, according to the NYPD.
No arrests have been made at this time.
