Police have released new video of a man they say raped a woman in Bed-Stuy Monday.
The suspect is described as being in his late 30s with a muscular build. Investigators say he may have bite marks on his hand.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 3 a.m. They say he went up to a woman on Putnam Avenue and threatened to shoot her unless she went with him.
Police say he then brought her to Lefferts Place into the stairwell on the side of a building. Investigators say he then assaulted her and raped her, at one point sticking his fingers down her throat.
According to police, the victim lost two teeth during the attack, but is listed in stable condition at the hospital.
Police are offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is urged to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
