Police have released a new video of the second man wanted in connection to a robbery at a Brooklyn gas station that lead to a deadly police-involved shooting.
The incident happened Monday shortly before 11 p.m. at the Gasgo gas station at 914 Remsen Ave.
Police say an off-duty officer was filling his car up at the station when two armed men walked up to the booth attendant and demanded cash.
The off-duty officer identified himself as a cop, and the suspects turned and pointed their guns at him, according to officials.
The officer fired his gun, killing 19-year-old William Simon while the second man ran off.
Police say they recovered a gun at the scene. Simon was transported to the hospital where he later died.
Investigators describe the remaining suspect as 6 feet tall, and say he was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Surveillance video from inside another gas station shows the second suspect moments before the attempted robbery and shooting.
Anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
