The family of a 21-year-old man fatally shot in Bed-Stuy mourned the loss of their loved one at a vigil Tuesday.
Police say a graduation party turned deadly Sunday at around 1 a.m. when gunshots struck Cornell Clarke in the torso. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Two other girls, ages 17 and 19, were also shot at the party. They are in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.
Clarke's family told News 12 Brooklyn that his friend was being targeted, and that he got caught in the crossfire. Police have not yet confirmed the motive behind the crime.
Candles, heartfelt messages and pictures were set up by loved ones at the vigil. Clarke leaves behind his sister and mother.
Police say no arrests have been made at this time.
