One Bronx restaurant was preparing Saturday for their busiest day of the year - Mother's Day.

News 12's Jericho Tran visited Vistamar Restaurant & Lounge in City Island to get a sneak peek at their set up for Sunday.

After closing in March 2020 during the pandemic, Vistamar reopened during Mother's Day last year for takeout and delivery only. With a spacious outdoor dining set up, right by the pier, and a large space for indoor dining, they are readily anticipating the Mother's Day crowd.

Tables are spaced six feet apart, and temperature checks are taken at the door to ensure safety measures take place.

Reservations will be necessary, and there will a prefixed menu for mothers and their families.
