The wake for FDNY firefighter Casey Skudin took place today at Towers Funeral Home in Oceanside.

Skudin, who was from Long Beach, was killed in an accident in North Carolina.

A funeral and FDNY ceremony will be held Friday.

Skudin’s loved ones plan to honor his memory Sunday morning by paddling out in Town of Hempstead Lido West, followed by a celebration at Ted’s in Point Lookout.
