A wake was held Wednesday to remember the three young men from Brooklyn who drowned tragically in a boating accident over the weekend.
Family and friends gathered at the Ralph Alevioli Funeral Home to share memories and mourn the loss of Carlo Milito, Anthony DuPont and Domenico Coluccio. Gianfranco Generoso, a dear friend of the three victims, survived the incident and mourned along with his neighbors and family members Wednesday. The 20-year-old was able to swim ashore after their boat filled with water and tipped over in Mountain Lake near the hamlet of Smallwood.
"Everybody in the neighborhood is in mourning," a neighbor says. "It?s a shock to all of us. And they were very religious people. They were always together."
The wake will go on until Thursday.
