Want to embark on a new fitness journey? Here are 5 easy goals.
Thinking of embarking on a new fitness journey?
Here are some easy fitness goals to try:

1. Stretch every day

Though many tend to forget to include stretching in their pre- and post-workout routines, stretching is just as important as the actual workouts you’re doing. It can help improve your range of motion, blood circulation, and muscular tension. Here are some different types of stretching.

2. Drink more water

Set a goal for yourself to drink a certain amount each day, and you may just notice an improvement to your overall health and fitness. The National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine recommends that men drink about 3.7 liters (about 125 ounces) a day and women drink 2.7 liters (about 91 ounces). Track your intake throughout the day and add tasty elements like lemon or mint to spice things up!

3. Improve your form

Are you working out correctly? Many tend to throw themselves into fitness without considering their form, which often results in injuries and necessary recovery time. Whatever workout you prefer, do your research and set a goal to make consistent tweaks to your form to ensure it’s correct. Here are some tips to strengthen your back and improve your posture.

4. Get more sleep

There is a deep connection between sleep and our fitness. Getting enough sleep allows our bodies to rest and recover after a day of physical activity and gives us the energy to carry us through our days. To form better sleep habits, consistently go to bed and wake up at the same time, create a dark and cool environment to sleep in, and avoid all screens before bedtime. Here are some tips for better sleep.

5. Try something new

Try a new workout you’ve never tried before, a new distance you’ve never tried to run, or a heavier weight to add to your workout.
