An exotic flower known as the Corpse Flower has finally bloomed at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx.

The rare plant only blooms once every 30 years and can reach up to 12 feet in length.

And if you're wondering where it got its nickname - it's because Amorphophallus Titanum gives off a powerful stench similar to rotting meat when it blooms.

According to the NYBG's site, the bloom lasts only 24 to 36 hours. Updates will be posted on their social media. A live stream of the blossom can be seen below.
