Man dies after being shot in the face in East Flatbush; person of interest in custody

A planned watch sale in East Flatbush turned into an armed robbery on May 21, according to police.

The incident happened at 2:14 p.m. outside 4011 Hubbard Place.

Police say a 20‑year‑old man arranged to meet someone to sell a watch.

When they met, the other man pulled out a gun and demanded the watch worth $5,800.

The suspect took the watch and ran off.

The victim was not hurt.
