A water main break caused a massive sinkhole to open up in Coney Island right where a car was parked.
A Honda Civic nearly fell into the hole when the pavement caved in Thursday morning on West 28th Street, between Mermaid and Neptune avenues.
The NYPD was able to pull the vehicle to safety. It was towed away, along with another car parked behind it.
Water was shut off and traffic blocked in the residential area while crews worked on repairs.
No injuries were reported.
