Neighbors described chaotic conditions as water levels rose quickly, forcing some people to detour or abandon their cars altogether. One resident told News 12 there was “no way out” as flooding blocked nearby streets.

Water reached ankle height and began forming a thin sheet of ice—raising concerns that the area could become even more hazardous overnight.
