A water main broke today in Gowanus.
The main burst near Baltic Street and Fourth Avenue this afternoon.
According to the fire chief, construction crews were doing work in the area and they thought the main was turned off.
The area is mostly industrial, but there is at least one apartment on the block that could be affected.
No injuries have been reported.
